West Lothian's number 1 cheerleaders!
The Scottish Starlets are the original and the BEST cheerleading group in West Lothian.
The Scottish Starlets was founded by Miss Laura Mackie (now Mrs Laura Douglas) in 2003 as the cheerleading squad
for Livingston FC. Since then the Scottish Starlets has grown in size from 14 girls to over 50 and is
continuing to do so.
The Scottish Starlets compete at major Scottish National events and displays. As such there are
now 4 cheerdance squads plus 6 duet pairs. The new Scottish Starlets ELITE squad will start preparing for
competitions in August, competing in the Dance and Hip Hop categories. The new Scottish Starlets SPARKLES squad will
start preparing for competitive dance and hip hop in September. For more information about the squads please see the
individual squad pages.
The Scottish Starlets and Mrs Laura Douglas would not be where they are today without all the help and support of
her family and friends. A special and well deserved thanks goes to Michael (The Boss's Man), Mrs M (The Boss's
Mum), Max (The Boss's Dad), Lesley (The Boss's Little Sis) and the squad leaders - Robyn, Megan, Melissa, Fiona and Laura.
