Classes

Classes are held in Pumpherston Institute Hall on a Monday Evening from 5.30-9.30pm. Please see the timetable below for exact class times.

Other cheerleading techniques classes are available with the Myra Mackie School of Dance at other venues and times throughout the week (see www.myramackieschoolofdance.co.uk for more information).

TIMETABLE - MONDAY EVENING, PUMPHERSTON INSTITUTE HALL

5.30-7.30pm Pupils aged 4 - 13

7.30-9.30pm Pupils aged 14 - adult including Mums!

We have access to 2 halls to ensure that classes are broken down as and when required.

In these 2 hour classes cheerleaders have the opportunity to complete tech work for examinations and dance displays as well as squads, duets and individuals for competitions. No previous dance or cheer experience required.

Pupils are expected to arrive on time and in the appropriate dance wear including pom poms, although new pupils are exempt from this until they have settled into the class. New pupils should wear comfortable clothing and footwear.

ALL dance items are available to purchase from Mrs Douglas.

Appropriate dancewear is vital to adhere to health and safety guidelines.

PLEASE NOTE

The Scottish Starlets Cheerleaders are the competitive branch of the Myra Mackie School of Dance.

As a result, we do not accept cheerleaders into our classes or squads who attend other dance / cheer schools (exluding the Myra Mackie School of Dance).

The Myra Mackie School of Dance does not accept dancers into classes who attend other dance / cheer schools (excluding The Scottish Starlets Cheerleaders).
