About Cheerdance

SHINE LIKE THE STARS YOU TRULY ARE!

Cheerdance is a fun sport where children and adults can enjoy exercise and socialising with friends. Cheerdance combines both cheerleading and dance elements into a energetic form of exercise. Cheerleaders with the Scottish Starlets are encouraged to always try their best regardless of their age and ability.

Cheerdance encourages people to work as part of a team and improves self-confidence in addition to the fitness benefits. The Scottish Starlets work hard to promote both positive behaviour and confidence building with all their members.

Hard work and effort ("little word, means a lot!" - Mrs M, The Myra Mackie School of Dance) will bring us the rewards we deserve.

Our Cheerdance squads compete at National events, most recently at the Tower Ballroom in Blackpool.
